MnO2 Doped with Ag Nanoparticles and Their Applications in Antimicrobial and Photocatalytic Reactions

A wide range of nanoparticles have been produced for photocatalysis applications. Nonetheless, degrading organic dyes requires that are efficient and excellent. As a photocatalyst, pure manganese oxide (MnO2) was prepared via sol–gel method using silver (Ag) transition metal oxide. In addition to X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDX), the crystal structure elemental composition were analysed. According XRD data, MnO2 is highly has small crystallite size. The presence functional groups confirmed clarified Fourier-transform infrared spectra (FTIR). By irradiating doped photocatalysts with visible light, UV-vis, ?-Raman, surface areas determined. result, aqueous methylene blue (MB) solutions under light irradiation, Ag demonstrated high degradation efficiencies utilised establish heterogeneous dominance. this paper, we demonstrate photocatalytic efficiency oxides exclusively determined by particle size area nano-sized materials. Due their charge ratio different orientations, highest efficiency. Generally, resistant bacteria both Gram-positive Gram-negative types (B. sublittus Escherichia coli).
